So, here we go. I sat down this morning and decided I would get this up. And it actually happened! This, by the way, is probably the first thing that I've done all summer that qualifies as something worthwhile. Anyways, hopefully I'll start getting some visitors soon once I set up some links, maybe pick up an affiliate or two, and so on. It might help if I actually was active in the pokemon fandom currently. Mainly I slipped out because of schoolwork (and sheer laziness). Now I'll slip back in, hopefully. I also need to actually write. Yes, I fail at discipline.

Anyways, I've got a few pages up already that I probably need to fix up because they're outdated and written a few years ago. Regardless, I'm also working towards doing some episode guides and manga guides, which will happen when I sit down and do them. Besides that, there are some other things I want to work on. Expect a forum eventually, featuring a minimal amount of boards, following a similar model to another forum I enjoy. Along with this, I've a few other projects in mind that you go check out on the projects page. Hopefully I'll get a bit of work down now that the first layout is down. Sooner or later, I'll also be adding some styles.

As far as what this site will do, I don't want to be the next Serebii.net (why would I, anyways?), or report on news. You can get that easily from great sites like Pocket Monsters or Bulbanews. I personally recommend getting an RSS feed into your feed reader, i.e. Google Reader, which puts it all in nice little bits of news. I want this site to focus on fandom. Out of the entire Pokémon franchise, I probably enjoy the anime most. But more so, I enjoy writing and reading fanfiction. We have a great fanfiction community and that's a thing to be grateful for. So, one of my projects is actually a Fanfiction Library - a collection of links and various pieces of fanfiction in a centralized location. So, you can see what I enjoy and recommend and probably eventually even suggest your own. Besides this, I do enjoy the games from time to time, though I am not anywhere near a hardcore gamer. I might occasionally battle online, though right now I restarted Pearl and haven't gotten very far yet. I also am looking forward to the Johto remakes, though I didn't actually every own one. So, we'll see how this turns out, aye?
